How to play

    Press Today's Rush and you are on the morning platform. The white ring at your feet and the triangle over your head mark you out.

How to play

How a game goes

A commuter platform at rush hour. Waves of people, station pushers and luggage carts shove you around, and so does everyone else playing. Pushed off any edge of the screen and you are out. The longer you last the more you score, over three rounds.

Move

Drag anywhere on the screen and you go that way — you stand a little above your finger. On a computer, the arrow keys or W A S D.

Know which one is you

A white ring at your feet and a white triangle above your head. In a crowd that moves, those two marks are all you have.

Read the warnings

Yellow arrowheads at the left and right edges show the height a wave is about to come through. Red ones are carts, and they hit hardest.

Last the longest

Survive 60 seconds and you score full marks. Three rounds, and the totals decide it. Solo runs the same crowd for everyone that day.

What shoves you

  • Commuter waves: they sweep through at a set height
  • Station pushers: staff pushing people onto the train. Step into one hard and it stalls for a second
  • Luggage carts: rare, and they send you furthest
  • Other players: you can body-check them too

01Stay off the edgesRails above and below, platform ends left and right. The middle gives you somewhere to go.
02Read the arrowheadsThey tell you the height, not the timing. Move off that line early.
03Step into the pusherRunning away rarely works. Push hard into them and they stall.
04Let others fall firstYou score for everyone who goes before you. Surviving beats attacking.
