SOROE
Build hands from coloured number cards and take three territories in a row.
PLAYROOM is a small collection of free online board games for one to eight players. Send one four-letter code and the table starts, right in the browser. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for.
Nine of our tables are available in English. The rest are Japanese only, for now.

Build hands from coloured number cards and take three territories in a row.

Send your opponent the long way round with blocks, and reach their side first. No luck involved.

One penguin escaped. Find the exact match in a waddling crowd before anyone else.

One phrase from the describer, and everyone picks the same shade out of near-identical colours.

Stay on the rush-hour platform. Get pushed off the screen and you are out.

Tap the numbers in the night sky in order, from 1. Thirty seconds, as many as you can.

Slide the jammed cars and drive the red one out. 1000 levels, easy to extreme.

Slide tiles one at a time until the centre 3×3 matches the pattern. Solo against the national best, or first to three wins online.

Trace three or more marbles of one colour and they pop. Longer lines push more grey duds up from the bottom of your rival's board. Fill to the top and you lose.
Every table is free, runs in the browser, and needs no account. Pick by how many people you have and how long you want to play.

Yes. Every table is free to play, with no account and no app. You open the page and play. There is nothing to buy inside the games either.
One to eight, depending on the table. PALETTE and MANIN go up to eight. WALL and TSUNAGI are for two, SOROE for two to four. SOROE, WALL and TSUNAGI let you play the computer on your own; SOKKURI, MANIN, SEIZA, MICHIAKE and ZURASHI have a solo time attack instead.
Three of them. SOROE is a card-and-territory fight with no luck at all (two to four players). WALL is a race where you wall your rival into detours. TSUNAGI is a real-time puzzle duel: trace three or more marbles of one colour and the duds pile up on the other side. All three run in the browser, with nothing to download.
PALETTE (2-8, co-op colour guessing) and MANIN (1-8, real-time shoving) are the ones built for a crowd. Everyone opens the same link on their own phone, so you do not need to pass one device around.
Create a room, and you get a four-letter code plus a link. Send either one in your group chat. Whoever opens it lands at the same table. It works the same whether you are in the same room or on different continents.
Yes. Phones, tablets and computers can all sit at the same table at once. Nothing to install — it is a web page.
No. Each table explains itself on the first screen, and a round takes a few minutes. SEIZA (tap the numbers in order, 1 upwards) and SOKKURI (find the matching penguin) need no rules at all.
No. Every game here was designed from scratch for a browser and a phone. They are not ports of published board games.
SEIZA is 30 seconds, SOKKURI and MANIN a few minutes, PALETTE about ten, SOROE about fifteen. MICHIAKE is one level at a time, one to three minutes each. ZURASHI is 20 to 60 seconds a puzzle. TSUNAGI runs one to two minutes a game, three to six for a full match.
Yes, and it works well that way. PLAYROOM has no voice chat of its own, so people usually keep a call open and play at the same time.
