Clear the way

A parking lot, jammed. Slide the cars with your finger and drive the red one out of the exit. Cars only move forward and back, never sideways. Getting it out earns a star; doing it in the fewest possible moves earns three. A thousand levels, from easy to extreme.

How to play

How a game goes

Pick a difficulty

Easy, Normal, Hard or Extreme. Nothing is locked, so you can start anywhere and jump around the list of levels.

Slide a car

Grab a car and slide it along its own line. Horizontal cars go left and right, vertical ones up and down. One slide is one move.

Open the lane

The red car sits on the exit row. Everything in front of it has to go somewhere, and space is the thing you are short of.

Drive it out

Slide the red car through the exit. Out at all is one star, within two of the fewest moves is two, exactly the fewest is three.

The stars

One star: you got it out
Two stars: within two moves of the fewest possible
Three stars: exactly the fewest possible
No undo: a gold seal for three stars without using undo

The 1000 levels

Easy 1-100: 2 to 8 moves, 4 to 10 cars
Normal 101-300: 9 to 14 moves
Hard 301-700: 15 to 32 moves
Extreme 701-1000: 36 to 74 moves, on a 7×7 lot

Tips for winning

01Work backwardsAsk what has to leave the exit row, then what has to move for that.

02Space is the resourceEvery car needs somewhere to go. Look for the empty squares first.

03Undo is freeTrying a line and taking it back costs nothing but the no-undo seal.

04Three stars can waitGet it out first. The fewest-moves run is a second, calmer pass.

Is MICHIAKE single player?

Yes, one player throughout. There is no timer, so you can think as long as you like.

Yes, and it is built for one — you slide the cars with a finger. Free, with no sign-up and nothing to install.

Are the levels locked?

No. All 1000 are open from the start, and you can pick any of them from the list.

Can I send a level to a friend?

Yes. The result screen makes a challenge link carrying the level number and your move count, so they play the same level trying to beat it.
